Janina Lindstroem (Aland, FIN) finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lindstroem defeated Pia Varjola (Turku-Hyvinkaa, FIN) 9-5, then won 15-2 against Miia Ahrenberg (Turku-Hyvinkaa, FIN) and 10-7 against Varjola. Lindstroem went on to lose 8-4 against Ahrenberg in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Finnish National Women's Championship Championship title, Lindstroem earned 3.750 world rankings points.
