Garner went on to lose 9-4 against MacTavish. Garner lost 9-4 to Wyatt Wright (Hamilton, ON) where Garner responded with a 10-3 win over Ryan Hastings (Oshawa, ON). Garner won 8-6 against Aaron Benning (Ottawa, ON), then won 7-5 against Kibo Mulima (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
