Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) won 5-4 over Giacomo Colli (Cortina dâAmpezzo, ITA) in the Final Retornaz advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Italian National Curling Championship, held February 7 - 11, 2024 in Trentino, Italy.

Retornaz finished 5-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retornaz defeated Colli 9-4, then won 8-2 against Stefano Gilli (Pinerolo, ITA) and 6-3 against Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA). Retornaz won 8-1 against Marco Onnis (Pinerolo, ITA), then won 3-1 against Stefano Spiller (Bormio, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Italian National Curling Championship Championship title, Retornaz earned 18.750 world rankings points. For week 29 of the event schedule, Retornaz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 1st place on the World Ranking Standings with 393.375 total points. Retornaz ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 393.375 points earned so far this season.
