To advance to the championship game, Shepherd-Spurgeon won 9-8 over Tilsimay Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ) in the semifinals of the 2025 Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division in Lacombe, Alberta;
Shepherd-Spurgeon finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shepherd-Spurgeon defeated Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG) 8-5, then won 5-4 against Isis Regadas (Sao Paolo, BRA). Shepherd-Spurgeon went on to lose 5-4 against Williams. Shepherd-Spurgeon lost 7-4 to Alliyarova where Shepherd-Spurgeon responded with a 15-4 win over Jasmin Hashi (Accra, NGR). Shepherd-Spurgeon won 13-11 against Kathleen Dubberstein (Manilla, PHI), then won 18-1 against Laventer Oguta (Nairobi, KEN) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division, Shepherd-Spurgeon take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Shepherd-Spurgeon did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
