Chelsea Suddens (Naseby, NZL) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Suddens lost 7-4 to Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN), droppimg another game, 13-3 to Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) where Suddens responded with a 10-9 win over Adriana Camarena (Mexico City, MEX). Suddens went on to lose 9-2 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN). Suddens lost 6-2 to Cory Thiesse (Chaska, USA). Suddens lost 9-4 to Rui Wang (Beijing, CHN) where Suddens responded with a 10-3 win over Ko Yang (Taipei City, TPE) in their final qualifying round match.

Suddens earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Suddens did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Suddens ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
