Xiao Ming Xu (Beijing, CHN) won 6-4 over Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN) in the Final of the Pan-Continental Championships, held October 27 - November 2, 2024 in Lacombe, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Xu won 7-4 over John Shuster (Duluth, USA) in the semifinals of the 2025 Pan-Continental Championships in Lacombe, Alberta;
 
Xu finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Xu defeated Australia's Steve Johns 8-4, then won 7-5 against Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL) and 12-4 against Ken Hsu (Taipei City, TPE). Xu won 5-4 against Abe. Xu went on to lose 8-6 against Shuster. Xu lost 5-4 to JaeBeom Lee (Uiseong, KOR). Xu lost 7-4 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Pan-Continental Championships Championship title, Xu earned 37.500 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Xu did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Xu ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
