Charlie Robert (Sault Ste. Marie, NO) finished 1-3 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robert lost 7-4 to Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 7-1 to ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) where Robert responded with a 6-5 win over Nathan Young (St. John's, NL). Robert went on to lose 9-2 against Carruthers in their final qualifying round match.

Robert earned 2.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 12 of the event schedule, Robert did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Robert ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
