To advance to the championship game, Dunstone won 9-2 over Joel Retornaz (Cembra, ITA) in the semifinals of the 2024 Henderson Metal Fall Classic presented by Kioti Tractors of Ontario in Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over John Epping (Sudbury, NO) in the quarterfinals.
Dunstone finished 4-0 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Matthew Hunt (Sault Ste Marie, NO) 7-3, then won 8-2 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) and 6-2 against Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 8-4 against Retornaz to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
