Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NO) finished 2-3 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacEwan defeated Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) 9-6, then went on to lose 8-1 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). MacEwan responded with a 7-2 win over Alex Champ (Toronto, ON). MacEwan went on to lose 7-1 against John Epping (Sudbury, NO). MacEwan lost 6-3 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 12 of the event schedule, MacEwan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacEwan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
