CHAMPION: Lander/Holtermann Wins 2024 Danish National Mixed Doubles Championship

Jasmin Lander/Henrik Holtermann (Hvidovre, DEN) won 7-6 over Natalie Wiksten/Kasper Wiksten (Hvidovre, DEN) in the Final of the Danish National Mixed Doubles Championship, held February 9 - 11, 2024 in Hvidovre, Denmark. To advance to the championship game, Lander/Holtermann won 8-1 over Mona Jensen/Morten Berger (Hvidovre, DEN) in the semifinals

Lander/Holtermann finished 5-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lander/Holtermann defeated Sophie Chang/Liam Goldbeck (Copenhagen, DEN) 8-3, then won 8-3 against Jensen/Berger and 7-4 against Emilie Holtermann/Nikki Jensen (Taarnby, DEN). Lander/Holtermann won 7-3 against Wiksten/Wiksten, then won 8-3 against Signe Schack/Tobias Thune (Gentofte, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Danish National Mixed Doubles Championship Championship title, Lander/Holtermann earned 3.750 world rankings points. For week 29 of the event schedule, Lander/Holtermann did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 108th to 112th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 11.250 total points. Lander/Holtermann ranks 117th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.250 points earned so far this season.
