Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST) finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Veltsman lost 11-5 to Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST), then responded with a 10-6 win over Kaarel Holm (Tallinn, EST). Veltsman won 11-1 against Olev Gudovski (Tallinn, EST), then won 10-4 against Margus Tubalkain (Tallinn, EST). Veltsman went on to lose 9-4 against Andres Jakobson (Tallinn, EST). Veltsman responded with a 11-6 win over Margit Peebo (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Estonian Curling Championships Championship title, Veltsman earned 3.750 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Veltsman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Veltsman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
