Claes Mattsson (Jonkoping, SWE) qualified for the 2024 Swedish Curling Championships playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE). of the 2024 Swedish Curling Championships in Jonkoping, Sweden;

Mattsson won 10-3 against Jonas Eden (Goteborg, SWE). Mattsson went on to lose 6-4 against Simon Granbom (Gavle, SWE). Mattsson responded with a 6-4 win over Claes Eriksson (Uppsala, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Mattsson earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Swedish Curling Championships, moving up 234 spots the World Ranking Standings into 255th place overall with 3.563 total points. Mattsson ranks 256th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.563 points earned so far this season.
