Tammy Dewar (Cornwall, PEI) finished 3-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dewar defeated Sophie Blades (Summerside/Cornwall, PEI) 9-5, then won 8-7 against Melissa Morrow (Crapaud, PEI). Dewar went on to lose 6-1 against Jane DiCarlo (Crapaud, PEI). Dewar lost 7-6 to Amanda Power (Cornwall, PEI) where Dewar responded with a 7-6 win over Jenny White (Crapaud, PEI). Dewar went on to lose 10-4 against Morrow in their final qualifying round match.

Dewar earned 0.563 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 31 spots the World Ranking Standings into 249th place overall with 1.557 total points. Dewar ranks 240th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.126 points earned so far this season.
