In their opening game, Schneider defeated Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC) 7-5, then won 12-9 against Sebastien Robillard (Langley, BC) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 7-6 against Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC). Schneider responded with a 8-4 win over Montgomery to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 11-9 against Cameron de Jong (Penticton, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the BC Men's Curling Championship Championship title, Schneider earned 11.250 world rankings points. Schneider move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 7 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 33rd overall with 116.145 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
