In their opening game, Richard defeated Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) 9-5, then won 8-3 against Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 7-6 against Catlin Schneider (Victoria, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
