To advance to the championship game, Montgomery won 7-5 over Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) in the semifinals of the 2024 BC Men's Curling Championship in Esquimalt, British Columbia;
Montgomery are currently 4-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Montgomery lost 7-5 to Chester, then responded with a 8-6 win over Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC). Montgomery won 8-6 against Chester. Montgomery went on to lose 8-4 against Schneider. Montgomery responded with a 8-6 win over Daniel Deng (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 10-5 against Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) to advance to the playoff round.. In their opening game, Montgomery plays.
With their runner-up finish at the BC Men's Curling Championship, Montgomery take home 8.250 world rankings points, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 84th place overall with 38.000 total points. Montgomery ranks 78th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.500 points earned so far this season.
