Andrew Symonds (St. John's, NL) won 7-5 over Greg Smith (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard, held January 23 - 28, 2024 at the Remax Centre in St. John's, . To advance to the championship game, Symonds won 6-3 over Ryan McNeil Lamswood (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2024 Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard in St. John's;

Symonds finished 7-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Symonds defeated Dylan Hancock (St. John's, NL) 11-2, then won 8-5 against Smith and 7-2 against Harold Walters (St. John's, NL). Symonds went on to lose 8-7 against McNeil Lamswood. Symonds lost 7-5 to Nathan Young (St. Johns, NL) where Symonds responded with a 6-2 win over Trent Skanes (St. John's, NL). Symonds won 5-4 against Parker Tipple (St. John's, NL), then won 8-4 against Dave Thomas (Port-aux-Basques, NL) and 7-6 against Young in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Newfoundland & Labrador Tankard Championship title, Symonds earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 132nd place overall with 18.000 total points. Symonds ranks 159th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.250 points earned so far this season.
