Reid Zingel (Victoria, BC) finished 1-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zingel lost 10-4 to Josh Bryden (Regina, SK), then responded with a 12-7 win over Sam Nygaard (Lethbridge, AB). Zingel went on to lose 8-5 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Zingel lost 10-3 to Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB). Zingel lost 7-5 to Osten Sahulka (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Zingel earned 0.188 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, Zingel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zingel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
