Reese Wainman (Inuvik, NT) lost 8-3 to Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in the Final of the Northwest Territories Scotties, held January 17 - 21, 2024 at the Hay River Curling Club in Hay River, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Wainman won 11-3 over Betti Delorey (Hay River, NT) in the semifinals of the 2024 Northwest Territories Scotties in Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada;

Wainman finished 3-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wainman lost 8-5 to Delorey, droppimg another game, 12-2 to Galusha where Wainman responded with a 11-2 win over Deb Stanley (Hay River, NT). Wainman won 16-2 against Stanley. Wainman went on to lose 11-5 against Galusha. Wainman responded with a 9-6 win over Delorey in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Northwest Territories Scotties, Wainman take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Wainman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wainman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
