Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) lost 9-8 to Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Scotties presented by Rocky Mountain Equipment, held January 23 - 28, 2024 in Morden, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Peterson won 8-4 over Kate Cameron (East St. Paul, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Manitoba Scotties presented by Rocky Mountain Equipment in Morden, Manitoba;

Peterson finished 6-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) 10-2, then went on to lose 13-1 against Shaela Hayward (Carman, MB). Peterson responded with a 9-4 win over Emily Cherwinski (Winnipeg, MB). Peterson won 10-4 against Kristy Watling (East St. Paul, MB). Peterson went on to lose 8-6 against Lawes. Peterson responded with a 8-4 win over Jolene Campbell (Winnipeg, MB). Peterson won 5-3 against Cameron, then won 7-3 against Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Manitoba Scotties presented by Rocky Mountain Equipment, Peterson take home 16.500 world rankings points. Peterson move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 13.125 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 31st overall with 121.703 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Peterson ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 99.250 points earned so far this season.
