Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO) run at the 2024 Scottish Curling Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-1 loss to James Craik (Forfar, SCO). of the 2024 Scottish Curling Championships in Dumfries, Scotland;
Mouat finished 6-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Fraser Swanston (Forfar, SCO) 8-6, then won 10-5 against Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO) and 8-3 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO). Mouat won 9-4 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO), then won 7-1 against Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO) and 5-1 against Kyle Waddell (Hamilton, SCO). Mouat went on to lose 8-2 against Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO). Mouat lost 7-3 to Craik in their final qualifying round match.
Mouat earned 23.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Championships, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 3.875 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mouat ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 349.375 points earned so far this season.
