Waddell lost 8-6 to Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) where Waddell responded with a 7-4 win over Orrin Carson (Stirling, SCO). Waddell won 9-2 against Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO). Waddell went on to lose 5-1 against Bruce Mouat (STIRLING, SCO). Waddell responded with a 7-4 win over Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Waddell earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Scottish Curling Championships, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Waddell ranks 20th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 143.750 points earned so far this season.
