Connor Massey (Kingston, ON) finished 2-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Massey defeated Matt Dupuis (cornwall, ON) 8-6, then went on to lose 12-1 against Travis Fanset (Brantford, ON). Massey responded with a 6-4 win over Mike Harris (Oakville, ON). Massey went on to lose 9-4 against Daniel Hocevar (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
