Jodi Vaughan (Lethbridge, AB) finished 5-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vaughan defeated Trina Ball (Sherwood Park, AB) 7-5, then won 10-9 against Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) and 6-5 against Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB). Vaughan went on to lose 8-7 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB). Vaughan responded with a 7-4 win over Emily Clark (Westlock, AB). Vaughan won 10-8 against Marks in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Alberta Scotties Qualifier, Vaughan take home 5.500 world rankings points, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 96th place overall with 24.649 total points. Vaughan ranks 94th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.376 points earned so far this season.
