Mason Guentzel (St. Paul, MN) lost 10-4 to Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI) in the Final of the USA Curling U18 National Championships, held January 11 - 14, 2024 at the Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, United States. To advance to the championship game, Guentzel won 6-4 over Daniel Laufer (Wayland, MA) in the semifinals

Guentzel finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Guentzel defeated Charlie Meyer (Beaverton, OR) 13-3, then won 7-0 against Matthew Lannoye (Portage, WI) and 9-3 against Bryce Breen (St. Paul, MN). Guentzel won 9-1 against Brayden Hanson (Tempe, AZ). Guentzel went on to lose 5-4 against Aiden Fitzgerald (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Guentzel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
