Zaikan finished 1-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zaikan lost 5-4 to Shinba, then responded with a 7-1 win over Momoko Yuzuki (Okayama, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nishi-Nihon Curling Championship Championship title, Zaikan earned 3.750 world rankings points. For week 19 of the event schedule, Zaikan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zaikan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
