Jesse Janz (Baldur, MB) finished 1-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Janz lost 7-3 to Dean North (Carman, MB), then responded with a 9-4 win over Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
