In their opening game, Forsyth defeated Eren Oleson (Arden, MB) 11-5, then went on to lose 9-4 against Greg Todoruk (Dauphin, MB). Forsyth responded with a 7-6 win over Travis Gregory (Hamiota, MB). Forsyth went on to lose 11-9 against Glen Toews (Dauphin, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Forsyth earned 0.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 20 of the event schedule, Forsyth did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
