Gregory finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gregory defeated Andrew Kempthorne (Brandon, MB) 9-5, then went on to lose 8-2 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB). Gregory responded with a 6-4 win over Freeman to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 6-5 against Cale Dunbar (Brandon, MB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
