Ken Kanai (Karuizawa, JPN) qualified for the 2024 Kanto Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Japan's Ryohei Maruyama. of the 2024 Kanto Curling Championships in Karuizawa, Japan, Japan;

Kanai are currently 1-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kanai lost 7-6 to Japan's Hiromitsu Kuriyama, then responded with a 11-1 win over Japan's Masanaga Yonetani. In their next game, Kanai plays.
