Junpei Kanda (Tokyo, JPN) qualified for the 2024 Kanto Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-2 against Japan's Shun Ichitsubo.

Kanda finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kanda defeated Japan's Ryosuke Yabe 8-1, then won 7-5 against Japan's Takashi Koyanagi. Kanda went on to lose 6-0 against Japan's Ryohei Maruyama in their final qualifying round match.

Kanda earned 1.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Kanto Curling Championships, moving up 56 spots the World Ranking Standings into 279th place overall with 3.489 total points. Kanda ranks 285th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.500 points earned so far this season.
