In their opening game, Canada's Rachel Homan defeated Sweden's Anna Hasselborg 7-6, then won 7-4 against Denmark's Madeleine Dupont and 10-6 against United States's Tabitha Peterson. Canada's Rachel Homan won 9-4 against Norway's Marianne Roervik, then won 8-7 against Italy's Stefania Constantini and 8-5 against Switzerland's Silvana Tirinzoni.
