Myla Plett (Sherwood Park, CAN) lost 6-3 to Ziru Li (Beijing, CHN) in the Final of the World Junior-B Curling Championships, held December 8 - 12, 2023 in Lohja, Finland. To advance to the championship game, Plett won 9-4 over Ilknur Urusan (Erzurum, TUR) in the semifinals   of the 2024 World Junior-B Curling Championships in Lohja, Finland; and won 8-5 over Karolina Jensen (Copenhagen, DEN) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2024 World Junior-B Curling Championships in Lohja, Finland; 
 
Plett finished 6-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Plett defeated Ambra Paslaru (Bucharest, ROU) 15-1, then won 7-3 against Daniela Garcia Revuelto (San Sebastien, ESP) and 7-3 against Rebecca Mariani (Trentino, ITA). Plett won 8-7 against Lisenka Bomas (Amsterdam, NED), then won 12-3 against Mirte Michiels (Zemst, BEL) and 6-4 against Sofie Krupickova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Plett ranks 111th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.375 points earned so far this season.
