Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) qualified for the 2024 World Junior-B Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against William Becker (Naseby, NZL). of the 2024 World Junior-B Curling Championships in Lohja, Finland;
Nikolov finished 5-1 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nikolov defeated Johnson Tao (Edmonton, CAN) 6-3, then won 10-2 against Selahattin Eser (Erzurum, TUR) and 9-5 against Matthaus Hofer (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Nikolov won 6-2 against Aidos Alliyar (Almaty, KAZ). Nikolov went on to lose 7-3 against Ryo Aoki (Sapporo, JPN). Nikolov responded with a 8-3 win over Antoni Frynia (Lodz, POL) in their final qualifying round match.
Nikolov earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Junior-B Curling Championships, moving up 46 spots the World Ranking Standings into 203rd place overall with 8.625 total points. Nikolov ranks 224th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.125 points earned so far this season.
