Becker finished 5-1 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Becker lost 6-5 to Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT), then responded with a 8-7 win over Schmidt. Becker won 9-7 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, USA), then won 10-1 against Benjamin Holcombe (Kent, ENG) and 10-4 against Vitor De Melo (Sao Paulo, BRA). Becker won 5-4 against Ching Nam Cheng (Hong Kong, HKG) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their fourth place finish at the World Junior-B Curling Championships, Becker take home 4.000 world rankings points. For week 22 of the event schedule, Becker did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Becker ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
