Smith lost 8-3 to Silvia Sykorova (Bratislava, SVK) where Smith responded with a 10-6 win over Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG). Smith won 6-5 against Immonen in their final qualifying round match.

Smith earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2023. For week 20 of the event schedule, Smith did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 124th to 126th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 11.500 total points.
