Amanda Chou (Taipei City, TPE) finished 2-4 in the 26-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chou defeated Namini Chaudhari (Hyderabad, IN) 5-2, then won 12-5 against Keremet Asanbaeva (Bishkek, KGZ). Chou went on to lose 6-5 against Diana Moskalenko (Kyiv, UKR). Chou lost 9-5 to Lena Kapp (Fuessen, GER). Chou lost 11-7 to Alison Fyfe (Dublin, IRL). Chou lost 9-4 to Santa Blumberga-Berzina (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

Chou earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 20 of the event schedule, Chou did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 202nd to 206th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 5.188 total points. Chou ranks 239th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.250 points earned so far this season.
