To advance to the championship game, Bonot won 9-2 over Warkentin in the semifinals of the 2024 Northern Ontario Tankard in Little Current, Ontario; Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON) reaches the 2024 Northern Ontario Tankard semifinals where they will meet Zach Warkentin (Thunder Bay, ON) for a spot into the championship game.
 
Bonot finished 4-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bonot defeated Malcolm O'Bright (North Bay, ON) 10-3, then won 11-3 against Matthew Hunt (Sault Ste Marie, ON) and 8-3 against Mike Assad (Copper Cliff, ON). Bonot went on to lose 10-4 against Horgan. Bonot responded with a 8-5 win over Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Northern Ontario Tankard Championship title, Bonot earned 3.750 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 105th place overall with 27.219 total points. Bonot ranks 99th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.625 points earned so far this season.
