Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) won 7-5 over Emma Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB) in the Final of the Curling Alberta Excel Cup, held November 24 - 26, 2023 at the Okotoks Curling Club in Okotoks, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Richards won 7-2 over Irelande McMahon (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals
 
Richards finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Richards defeated McMahon 9-1, then won 6-3 against Jenna Pomedli (Saskatoon, SK) and 7-6 against Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB). Richards won 1-0 against Makayla Cook (Leduc, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
