Hinz finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hinz defeated Kellen Warr (Grande Prairie, AB) 6-3, then won 8-2 against Holland and 6-0 against Curtis Clampitt (Dawson Creek, BC). Hinz went on to lose 9-3 against Green Beans (Dawson Creek, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Hinz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
