Lawton finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton lost 9-3 to Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC), then responded with a 6-5 win over Alexandre Leduc (Valleyfield, QC). Lawton went on to lose 5-3 against Peter Prevost (Buckingham, ON). Lawton responded with a 6-5 win over Denis Robichaud (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Lawton earned 0.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Finale du Circuit, remaining in 143rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 16.437 total points. Lawton ranks 139th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.250 points earned so far this season.
