Finlay Rutherford (Kinross, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rutherford lost 8-1 to Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO), then responded with a 13-10 win over Fraser Swanston (Forfar, SCO). Rutherford won 8-4 against Ethan Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). Rutherford went on to lose 8-1 against Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO). Rutherford responded with a 5-4 win over Callum Grant (Greenacres, SCO). Rutherford went on to lose 8-2 against Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO). Rutherford lost 16-4 to Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
