Caleb Hofstra (Leduc, AB) lost 7-6 to Nathan Schoenhardt (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Lacombe U18 Men, held October 20 - 22, 2023 at the Lacombe Curling Club in Lacombe, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Hofstra won 10-4 over Ethan Landers (Drayton Valley, AB) in the semifinals

Hofstra are currently 2-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hofstra defeated Schoenhardt 6-3, then won 4-1 against Timothy Lawrence (St. Albert, AB). In their next game, Hofstra plays.
