McCarville finished 11-4 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Ron Rosengren (Thunder Bay, NO) 5-3, then won 5-2 against Andrew Sinclair (Thunder Bay, NO) and 10-2 against Jackson Dubinsky (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville went on to lose 7-2 against Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville lost 6-5 to Zach Warkentin (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville lost 5-0 to Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO) where McCarville responded with a 4-3 win over Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville won 8-1 against Gary Weiss (Thunder Bay, NO), then won 7-1 against Denis Malette (Thunder Bay, NO) and 7-1 against Robyn Despins (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville won 6-5 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NO), then won 7-3 against Jodi Judd (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville went on to lose 5-4 against Johnston. McCarville responded with a 8-4 win over Chris Silver (Thunder Bay, NO). McCarville won 6-4 against Brian Adams Jr. (Thunder Bay, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
McCarville earned 1.500 world rankings points for their Top 7 finish in the TBayTel Major League of Curling. For week 26 of the event schedule, McCarville did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McCarville ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
