Burgess lost 5-3 to Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NO) where Burgess responded with a 7-1 win over Andrew Sinclair (Thunder Bay, NO). Burgess won 6-4 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, NO). Burgess went on to lose 6-3 against Ron Rosengren (Thunder Bay, NO). Burgess responded with a 7-6 win over Zach Warkentin (Thunder Bay, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
