CHAMPION: Ethier/Santos Wins 2023 Portugese Curling Cup

Antonieta Martins Ethier/Victor Santos (Lisbon, POR) won 12-2 over Ashley Spalding/Chris Skidmore (Lisbon, POR) in the Final of the Portugese Curling Cup - Mixed Doubles, held October 13 - 15, 2023 in Barrie, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Ethier/Santos won 9-3 over April Seixeiro/Steve Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR) in the semifinals of the 2023 Portugese Curling Cup - Mixed Doubles in Barrie, Ontario;

Ethier/Santos finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ethier/Santos defeated Andra Barbosa/William Barbosa (Lisbon, POR) 9-5, then won 9-8 against Spalding/Skidmore. Ethier/Santos went on to lose 6-1 against Seixeiro/Seixeiro in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Portugese Curling Cup - Mixed Doubles Championship title, Ethier/Santos earned 3.750 world rankings points.
