To advance to the championship game, Hartwell won 5-1 over Abby Whitbread (Lacombe, AB) in the semifinals   of the 2023 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 5-4 over Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2023 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; 
 
Hartwell finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hartwell defeated Melissa Pierce (Edmonton , AB) 10-3, then won 7-5 against Vanessa McConnell (Calgary, AB). Hartwell went on to lose 5-3 against Marks. Hartwell responded with a 5-4 win over Pierce in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3, Hartwell take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,625CDN prize. Hartwell move up 8 spots after posting a net gain of 5.118 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 66th overall with 43.524 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Hartwell ranks 70th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.875 points earned so far this season.
