To advance to the championship game, Parent won 8-1 over Mitch Young (Kimberley, BC) in the semifinals of the 2023 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-2 over Andrew Dunbar (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;
Parent finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Parent defeated Peter Hlushak (Edmonton, AB) 7-3, then won 5-4 against Warren Kozak (Calgary, AB) and 7-6 against Tyler Pfeiffer (Edmonton, AB). Parent went on to lose 8-4 against Adam Elsenheimer (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #3 Championship title, Parent earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,700CDN first prize cheque.
