Christina Black (Halifax, NS) lost 4-3 to Jessica Daigle (Halifax , NS) in the Final of the The Curling Store Cashspiel, held September 22 - 24, 2023 at the Lakeshore Curling Club in Lower Sackville, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Black won 6-3 over Marie Christianson (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2023 The Curling Store Cashspiel in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada;

Black finished 4-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black defeated Christianson 8-5, then won 8-1 against Jocelyn Adams (Halifax, NS) and 8-3 against Lauren Ferguson (Charlottetown, PEI). Black went on to lose 7-6 against Daigle. Black responded with a 9-5 win over Mackenzie Mitchell (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the The Curling Store Cashspiel, Black take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 9 of the event schedule, Black did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 262nd to 263rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 1.125 total points.
