In their opening game, Latimer lost 11-4 to Jean-Michel Arsenault (Levis, QC), droppimg another game, 12-10 to Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB). Latimer lost 10-3 to Tyler Smith (Crapaud, PEI). Latimer lost 9-2 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT). Latimer lost 8-3 to Brad Gushue (St.John's, CAN) where Latimer responded with a 7-5 win over Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS). Latimer went on to lose 9-3 against Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK). Latimer lost 6-4 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Latimer earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 33 of the event schedule, Latimer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Latimer ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
